Why is it important for me to raise awareness of ADHD?
Because my husband, who is also my business partner, has ADHD. And even though we are both Mindset and Performance Coaches we know how much his ADHD has impacted us.
The more we learned about ADHD the more we wanted to help others.
ADHD is a performance disorder. That’s because people with ADHD know what they need to do and why. The problem is in the application of knowledge – implementation. That is the strength of coaching. Coaching helps people show what they know.
We understand coaching and have intimate personal knowledge of ADHD from both sides of the equation. Coaching brings the strategies and tools we know into the ADHD world and make a real difference.
There's a common theme when we speak with people who have ADHD and those who support them. It rings true for us too:
I wish I’d known I had ADHD earlier
I wish I'd known more about ADHD sooner
ADHD hurts adults, not just children. As adults we diminish the pain of ADHD by thinking we can’t change it, and this is what life has to be like. But that is not the case.
The fact is ADHD is manageable. Through professional support you can access effective treatment and medication if you choose. And you can gain insight into your unique situation and develop tools and strategies to improve your everyday life and achieve outcomes you desire. It’s not always easy, but the important things in life rarely are.
The message we would like people to take from having a greater awareness of ADHD is that life can be so much better.
Please don't put up with where you're at.
Please don't suffer any longer.
Please ask for help wherever you need it because it is there, and it will make a difference.
Our vision:
We commit to help people find in themselves the character they can sense but can’t see, and know but can’t define, so they can imagine what’s possible then dare to try.
